Biography
Alexander S. Blum is the CEO and Founder of Atomic Capital, a New York blockchain technology company which provides a software platform for compliant security token issuance, fundraising, lending, and ongoing administration. Prior to launching Atomic, Alexander consulted for blockchain hedge funds and startups for 6+ years, developing a cryptocurrency mining operation and AI-Crypto Hedge Fund, and leading projects at both Fortune 500s and prominent blockchain start-ups. He graduated from MIT and has been a blockchain expert speaker at events throughout the world. He has written for Forbes, The Pacific Council on International Policy, The Huffington Post, and Seeking Alpha.

Join this workshop with Dr. Marc Fleury (previously Founder/CEO of JBoss, acquired $350MM by RedHat in 2006), and Alexander S. Blum examining an emerging methodology for community capital formation. The talk will look at the convergence of Modern Monetary Theory, Fractional Reserve Banking, and Cryptocurrency to ask how groups of like-minded individuals can join together to generate value with the speed of a cryptocurrency and robust strength of a traditional bank. The session will consist of a 30 minute talk and 15 minutes of audience Q&A.
