Karen Gordon Mills served in President Barack Obama's Cabinet as Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (2009-2013). She is a Senior Fellow and member of the entrepreneurship faculty at Harvard Business School, and the author of the book Fintech, Small Business & the American Dream.
Mills is a venture capitalist and serves in leadership roles for several policy organizations, including the National Bureau of Economic Research Board of Directors and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee. Mills earned an AB in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
