Yoshio is General Director and founding member of Payments Japan.
Established in July 2018, Payments Japan serves to accelerate nation-wide adoption of digital payments, by promoting national-scale, cross-industry collaboration.
It currently embraces 350+ members from various industries, including banks, non-bank payment service providers, IT vendors, FinTechs, telcos, retailers, and food service providers.
Yoshio currently overlooks the entire operations of Payments Japan, and facilitates the Association’s annual projects, including Code Payment Standard Adoption, National Payments Roadmap Development, as well as numerous initiatives to promote digital payments as means to revitalize regional economies.
