略歴

Nick Wilde leads Thought Machine in Asia Pacific. Originally an engineer, Nick has held senior roles in product, sales, operations and general management. He has worked for leading corporations including Cable & Wireless, Lockheed, CheckFree, Fiserv and Experian.

Throughout his career he has specialised in reinventing businesses and products to improve value in USA, Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. In doing so, Nick has worked with major financial organisations including Westpac, Standard Chartered, Wells Fargo, NedBank, VietCom Bank, BBL and ANZ as well as other industry leaders such as NTTData, Microsoft and McKinsey.

概要

金融への異業種からの参入が進み、既存の銀行ビジネスモデルが試される中、銀行がどのようにレガシー（システム、インフラ、企業文化）を脱し、新しい金融の姿を作るかがテーマ。オープンイノベーション、外部スタートアップとのコラボレーションの在り方、オープンAPIの拡大による銀行のプラットフォーム化を通して顧客にどのような価値を提供していくか、AIによる業務自動化の脅威、若者の就職先としての人気の低下等ネガティブなニュースの多い銀行業を面白くできるかを議論する。
