Biography

1993年東京大学大学院経済学研究科博士課程修了。経済学博士（東京大学）。慶応義塾大学経済学部専任講師、東京大学大学院経済学研究科・経済学部助教授、同准教授を経て、2011年より現職。
東京大学金融教育研究センター・フィンテック研究フォーラム代表。NIRA総合研究開発機構理事。内閣府経済財政諮問会議民間議員、経済産業省産業構造審議会「2050経済社会構造部会」部会長等。

How to Realize the New Governance Model in the Era of Society 5.0

Description

The power to discipline people's decisions has been shifting from law to code in a society where cyber-space and physical-space are highly integrated ("Society 5.0"). How should laws deal with code in a way that they promote innovation as well as ensure trust in the society? This question is one of the key issues raised in G20 and OECD. In this workshop, leading experts from business, audit, law, government and academia will discuss diversified perspectives on the new governance model for Society 5.0.
