Biography

Mr Venkatesh Saha is Head of APAC Expansion at TransferWise, a global technology company that’s building the best way to move money around the world. TransferWise processes £4bn (JPY530bn) every month on behalf of its five million customers, who save themselves £1bn (JPY132.5bn) a year in bank fees. Valued at US$3.5bn (JPY380bn), it is Europe's most valuable fintech start-up. Venkatesh oversees all of TransferWise’s regional expansion plans, including partnerships with central banks and commercial banks in the APAC region, heading a sizeable team in one of the fastest growing markets for TransferWise. He has an MBA from Wharton School.
