Nao Kitazawa is responsible for Coinbase’s business in Japan.
Previously, he was a COO of Money Design, a company that helped pioneer automated investment advice platforms in Japan. Prior to that, Nao was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley for six years. Nao also spent six years as a member of an international law firm, Paul Hasitngs. As one of the industry's leaders, Nao sits on the board of the Fintech Association of Japan.
Nao Kitazawa received his LL.M from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his Bachelor’s of Law from Keio University in Tokyo.

Crypt-asset exchanges are suffering from incessant hacks, losing a decent amount of crypto-assets of their customers. While it is imperative to enhance the security of the system as a whole, including functions outside of the blockchain, now is the time to learn a lesson from past incidents and to find out the root cause of the issue.
