Biography

After working at Microsoft and Yahoo, Japan Digital Design CTO since 2017. Since 2012, he has been an executive advisor to the government CIO. He has been engaged in building the information system infrastructure that supports the social security and tax number system. 2015: Became a policy adviser of Fukuoka City (ICT) and a representative director of OpenID Foundation Japan. 2016: Advisor of Japan Blockchain Association. 2017: ISO/TC 307 Convenor of Japanese mirror committee on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology. 2019: Director of Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Service Association.

Crypt-asset exchanges are suffering from incessant hacks, losing a decent amount of crypto-assets of their customers. While it is imperative to enhance the security of the system as a whole, including functions outside of the blockchain, now is the time to learn a lesson from past incidents and to find out the root cause of the issue.
